Fallout Continues From Isiah Thomas Firing at FIU

Chicago product Milton Doyle, who had originally committed to play for Isiah Thomas at Florida International, will instead suit up for the Kansas Jayhawks next season. Doyle was waiting for confirmation on his academic eligibility, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune. Although the results weren't there on the court for the Golden Panthers, there is little doubt that Thomas was a big reason that FIU had done as well in recruiting as it had. His firing could continue to have long-lasting implications at the school, no matter how justified it was. Rick Pitino's son Richard is now the coach at the school.
