Over the weekend it became clear that some of the SBNation sites have been seeing political ads show up in the advertising rotation.
As part of the advertising policy at SBNation, we do not accept political ads, nor should they be allowed to run on our sites. We aren't in the business of alienating half of our potential readers by allowing those ads to run.
If you see a political ad on the site:
1. Keep in mind that we didn't purposefully place it there.
2. Take a screen shot of the ad if you can, and send it to us here at madnesssbnation@gmail.com. We will forward it on to the correct people.
3. Don't be offended (See No. 1).
We don't have a comment policy here at MMM yet, but with the U.S. Presidential election coming up, there may be the temptation to bring politics into the discourse here. Please refrain from doing so. This is a site about college basketball, and until the President picks his bracket (whomever that person will be next March), we won't even acknowledge that the election has gone on. Neither should your comments.
We reserve the right to delete any politically based comment thread from the site should it occur.
Thanks for keeping this place one about college basketball (and the occasional off-basketball, sports-related post).
