The Matadors will move on from their coach of 17 seasons.
Cal State Northridge will announce that Bobby Braswell is no longer the coach of their men's basketball team. It is the first coaching change the school has made since 1996.
Braswell is an alum of the university and ended his career at Cal St. Northridge with a 251-258 mark. He was the Big Sky Coach of the Year in 2001, when the Matadors won the league championship. He also lead the Matadors to a Big West championship in 2009.
Before coming to Northridge, Braswell was an assistant at Oregon and Long Beach State.
An official announcement is expected later today.
