Anrio Adams Transferring To Ohio

USA TODAY Sports

The former Kansas Jayhawk Anrio Adams is transferring to Ohio University per Jeff Goodman (ESPN). The 6-3 guard saw limited playing time at Kansas (3.5 mpg). He scored 11 points against Texas Tech in which he went 4-5 from the field; Adams scored 27 points the whole season.

"Anrio is a very talented kid. We've enjoyed him being here," said Bill Self on ESPN.

Adams was not seeing much time due to guards Elijah Johnson, Travis Releford, and Ben McLemore and it wouldn't help him that the Jayhawks had four more guards committed.

Adams will have to sit the 2013-2014 season but after that he will have three years of eligibility left for the Bobcats. "Rio" will be paired up with another four star recruit in Bean Willis at Ohio University.

Rio is famous for his bench antics (1 and 2) but it looks like he will be spending more time on the court for Jim Christian and Ohio.
