Richmond took a huge blow to its NCAA Tournament at-large hopes Wednesday when it lost to George Mason, 69-60. The Spiders needed almost every good win they could get along the way to have any hope, given their precarious perch on the bubble.
George Mason wouldn't have been a good win, but it certainly was a questionable loss for Richmond.
It appears the Spiders may need to win out in order to overcome that loss, which would mean taking out Rhode Island, VCU and Dayton as the season comes to a close. It also probably means that they need to win a couple of Atlantic 10 tournament games to even get back into the conversation.
Can they start that winning train today? We will find out here at 2 p.m. Eastern.
