San Diego has made a huge push over the final two weeks of the season and finds itself looking at potentially nabbing the No. 6 seed, and if everything falls its way, No. 5 is a possibility after the tie-breaks.
But standing in the way is BYU, which is not only trying to grab the No. 2 seed in the WCC, but also keep its at-large hopes for an NCAA Tournament berth alive.
With the latest release of Bracketology over at ESPN, the Cougars had one of the last four byes into the tournament, but our own Chris Dobbertean at SBNation has BYU playing in Dayton in the First Four. Nothing is a guarantee for the Cougars at this point, and every game becomes even more important now.
