Missouri State's Emmanuel Addo Arrested on Suspicion of DWI

Missouri State senior forward Emmanuel Addo was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of DWI.

According to a report on the Springfield News Leader, Missouri State senior forward Emmanuel Addo was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated.

The arrest occurred at 1:59 a.m. near Jefferson and Saint Louis St. in downtown Springfield, but no further details were released about the incident.

Addo transferred to Missouri State from Northern Colorado for his final season of eligibility. His playing time has gone down over the course of the season and he saw just two minutes of action in the season finale against Wichita State, despite the blowout loss.

He is averaging 10.7 minutes per game and 4.3 points per contest.

Given some of the punishments we have seen for arrests of this nature during this season, we are expecting this may be a short time missing Addo on the bench for the Bears. But with the Missouri Valley Tournament beginning this week, it is possible he may have seen his last action for Missouri State.
