Gonzaga's new favorite number is going to be 51. Or maybe it won't. That is the number of No. 1 votes the school received in the latest AP Poll. But being ranked No. 1 hasn't been a picnic for the teams that have held that spot this season.

Though this college football season will produce neither a conference nor a national title for Georgia, it remains one of the best uncrowned seasons in school history. In that regard, the 2012 Bulldogs resemble the 1931 Georgia squad.
The Missouri Valley held its two spots in the latest AP Poll. Gonzaga wasn't so lucky. The Bulldogs drop four spots in the tally, a vote that was curiously missing a voter this week.
The Oregon Ducks, Stanford Cardinal, USC Trojans and Oregon State Beavers are ranked in the AP top 25.
