Doug McDermott was named one of the four finalists for the Naismith Award. The winner will be announced at the Final Four.

Mid-major players were well-represented among the Naismith Top 30. At least Bucknell's Mike Muscala finally got some attention, while another surprising name made the list. We run down the seven representatives.

The usual names are on the Naismith Award watch list, and then there is Kevin Pangos. We don't disagree with his inclusion; we are just shocked that he got the nod as one of the 50 names.
