We're a little more than four hours away from one of the most exciting hours in sports - Selection Sunday. Like most decision making processes in life, not everyone is going to be happy with the ultimate outcome today. There will be those crying out the injustices of the selection committee, hurling the gold stars on their teams tournament resumes at the TV screen as the bubble bursts.
There will also be that indescribable feeling of elation that can only be caused by seeing your team's name framed by a rectangle, neatly placed next to a number ranging from 1 to 16. Even if the foe in round one should be an insurmountable titan of hardwood excellence, an almost surefire loss in just four (or five) days time, nothing can take away this day. This moment, when all those long, grueling practices, the long non-conference road trips, the angst of Championship Week, it all pays off for this chance. After all, that's what most of the teams in this world are playing for - just a chance.
Of course the question on everyone's mind is who will make the cut and who will be left thinking what if?
Let's find out.
