On June 28, the powers that be in the NBA will come together and pick the next crop of players for the big league.
We know that the starting five from NCAA Champion Kentucky will be among the 60 players chosen on that Thursday night, but who will fill out the remaining 55 slots? There has to be someone from mid-major country, right?
Our friend Geeves went through mock drafts across the Internet and ESPN's Chad Ford's list of the top 100 draft prospects, and came up with 18 names of possible draftees that could pop up. There is even a chance that one of the 18 could go in the lottery, but we will let our resident expert on that player (since he saw him play at least half his games last season) give you that story.
Over the next month, we will be tackling these players, letting you know what we have determined about their skills and draft prospects. We will also look into the numbers using our HOOPWAR formula to tell you what impact that player had in his final college season.
Keep checking back, or use the 2012 NBA Draft category to catch up on all the players you may have missed.
