There will be a lot of hand wringing as the Keith Clanton watch continues.
The Central Florida forward has still not made up his mind whether he will return to the Knights next season, given the postseason ban against the team.
Now Tampa Bay Times reporter Greg Auman is reporting that two possible destinations for the Clanton are Kentucky and Florida State.
Hearing that UCF forward Keith Clanton hasn't yet decided if he'll return to Knights, but if he doesn't, heard FSU and Kentucky are options.

We previously mentioned how poor the Knights looked without Clanton coming back. And you would have to believe that the loss of the Clanton comes with the second shoe dropping: Marcus Jordan wouldn't be far behind in leaving.
That mid-major basketball would lose Clanton completely isn't a surprise. That programs such as Kentucky (with its cavalcade of star recruits) would be interested is somewhat of a shock. There is a lot of talent already on board there, and Clanton would not have the same cache that he does in Orlando.
Florida State is packed in the other direction with a number of returning veterans who would seem to keep Clanton's minutes down.
Either team would be getting a strong contributor, but it is hard to see how he fits immediately in the rotation at either stop.
