Oakland players Duke Mondy and Dante Williams have been released from jail and charges have been dropped, according to a report by CBSSports' Gary Parrish.
The information related to the players came from Oakland University head coach Greg Kampe.
Both players are being flown back to Michigan, which means that neither will be in uniform tonight when the Grizzlies take on Cal in Berkeley, Calif.
The players were arrested early Thursday morning after an alleged rape took place at a Culver City hotel. The story of the arrest was first reported by TMZ.com and confirmed by Parrish.
The University has still not issued an official statement on the matter and the information from Kampe to Parrish was the first statement from anyone within the school.
There is no word on whether the players will be allowed to return for Sunday's game against Gonzaga as part of the Maui Invitational.
