According to the Associated Press, Southern Utah player Wade Collie has been arrested on drug charges based on information listed on the Iron Country Sheriff's Office website.
The charges listed for the 21-year-old were possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute.
The junior wing from Las Vegas has been suspended from the team indefinitely and the school issued a statement that they are looking into the matter.
Collie has been averaging 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Thunderbirds. He has not played in the last two games for Southern Utah because of an injury to his knee.
He had seen limited playing time since the beginning of February, but other than the injury that kept him out of the last two contests, no reason had been given for the change in minutes. The Thunderbirds are off until Saturday's Bracket Buster game against Cal State Northridge.
