Marist has decided that they will move on from head coach Chucky Martin after five years at the helm for the Red Foxes. Martin was 41-117 and went 10-21 this past year.
Martin took over the program in 2008 from current James Madison head coach Matt Brady. Brady was 73-50 at Marist and lead them to a MAAC regular season title in 2006-07.
Before heading to Marist, Martin was an assistant coach at Manhattan, UMass, Drexel, St. John's, and Memphis. He was the second MAAC coach fired so far this year, with Siena's Mitch Buonaguro being the other.
