Loyola MD vs East Carolina

In a back and forth first half, the Greyhounds and the Pirates went to the locker room even at 32. Both teams had 4 point leads early in the second half but after a pair of Maurice Kemp free throws, the Pirates never looked back. ECU then went on a 9-0 run to take a 53-45 lead. Even when Loyola MD cut the lead back to six at 57-51, Maurice Kemp hit another big shot. His three pointer with 4:15 to play extended the Pirate lead to nine as they cruised the rest of the way to a 12 point win.

Evansville vs Canisius

Canisius was coming off a big 22 point comeback win in overtime over Youngstown State but Evansville's Colt Ryan slowed the Golden Griffs' momentum as he torched Canisius to the tune of 39 points. In doing so, he became the all-time leading scorer in Evansville's history. Even with the incredible shooting performance of Ryan, the Aces were still in a ball game and trailed by nine at the break. After being down two with under six minutes to play, Evansville used a big run to take a 79-71 lead with 51 seconds to play in the game. Canisius would hit a three at the buzzer to make it a one point loss but with the help of 56 second half points, it's Evansville who becomes the second MVC team to advance to the CIT Final Four.

Northern Iowa vs Bradley

In a game that wasn't so close, Northern Iowa ran away with a victory over Bradley early in the second half. All five UNI starters reached double figures in scoring with Anthony James' 21 points leading the way. After the first half saw both teams put up 40 points on the scoreboard, the Panthers busted the game open with a 50 point second half. UNI will play host to tomorrows winner in the Semi-Finals, Saturday.
