San Jose State has tabbed a familiar face around the Mountain West for their venture into their new conference. The Spartans have hired Boise State associate head coach Dave Wojcik to takeover the Spartans program.
Wojcik will takeover for George Nessman who was fired after a 9-20 year. Nessman was 86-161 overall in his 8 years with the Spartans.
Before coming to Boise State Wojcik was an assistant coach at Wake Forest, Tulsa, Xavier, and James Madison. He graduated from Loyola (MD) in 1991.
San Jose State made the CBI in 2011, but has not been to the NCAA tournament since 1996.
