Mercer's Ike Nwamu Throws It Down Against Kennesaw State

It wasn't pretty for the Kennesaw State Owls on Friday and Ike Nwamu added insult to injury with this monster windmill jam.

I don't think anyone told the rest of the Atlantic Sun that Florida Gulf Coast was "Dunk City". The Eagles seem to be getting shown up every night, in terms of dunks, around the Atlantic Sun. Last night it was Mercer's Ike Nwamu's turn to throw it down and did so over in-state rival Kennesaw State.

The Bears had not problem taking down Kennesaw State in a 83-46 blowout in Macon, Georgia. Four Bears finished in double-figures, lead by Bud Thomas with 19 points. Atlantic Sun Player of the Year front-runner Langston Hall finished with 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Kennesaw State, who dropped to 4-14 and 1-4 in A-Sun play, only had one player in double-figures and that was Delbert Love with 11 points.

Mercer, who now stands at 13-5 and 4-1 in the conference, will visit Northern Kentucky on Thursday. Kennesaw State will look to rebound with a trip to Lipscomb the same night. The Owls are operating under an interim coach and have lost nine of their last ten games.
