Are you feeling lucky?

If you answered "YES!" then head on over the Annapolis, Maryland on February 5 to see Navy take on Boston University in a Patriot League clash. You'll be greeted at the door by Bill the Goat and will then compete in a high stakes games of rock, paper, scissors to get into the Midshipmen's game for free.

Here is the official statement from Navy:

All fans who arrive at Alumni Hall between 6:15 PM and 6:45 PM can take on Bill the Goat in one round of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Fans who beat Bill will receive FREE admission to the game. Fans who lose to Bill, will have to pay for a full-priced ticket. Full priced tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 18 and under). If you beat Bill and you already have a ticket for Wednesday's game, you will receive a voucher for free admission to a future, regular season game

Also, in case you don't know the rules then Navy has you covered

Rock, Paper, Scissors is a hand game played between two people, where players simultaneously form one of three shapes with an outstretched hand. The rock beats scissors, the scissors beat paper and the paper beats rock. If both players throw the same shape, the game is replayed.

The game is often used as a choosing method in a way similar to coin flipping, drawing straws, or throwing dice. Unlike truly random selection methods, however, Rock, Paper, Scissors can be played with a degree of skill by recognizing and exploiting non-random behavior in opponents (definition from Wikipedia).

There is no word yet on if a player can use "DYNAMITE!", although I'm sure someone will give it a try. Is anyone else reminded of the scene from Vegas Vacation when reading about it?

If you lose and don't want to pay the $10 then you can watch the game live here on Mid-Major Madness.
