2014-2015 College Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll Released

Kentucky leads the preseason coaches poll with 24 first place votes, ahead of Arizona, Duke and Wisconsin. Wichita State, Gonzaga and VCU start the season representing the mid-majors

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Kentucky took the early lead in the preseason coaches poll thanks to another season beginning with a stacked roster of potential NBA players. The Wildcats took home 24 of the 32 first place votes.

Arizona (3), Duke (2) and Wisconsin (3) also grabbed top votes from the panel.

Wichita State begins the year ranked No. 11  despite the loss of some key contributors to last season's perfect run through the regular season. Gonzaga comes in at No. 13, while VCU rounds out the rest of the mid-majors at No. 16.
