This is the time of year that everyone is supposed to be filled with optimism and excitement... regretfully I bring you bad news on this day...
According to USF’s @MJFarrell, Red Panda has retired. There needs to be an online campaign to put her in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

If you're a mid-major college basketball then you've likely been dazzled by Red Panda before. She was number one on the halftime show power rankings and always firmly in front of "Simon Says Guy", trampolinist, baby races, and any American Idol style singing competitions.
Simply put...A great void has been left in our sport.
Red Panda sat out the 2013-14 season due to injuries and her comeback was more heavily anticipated than that of Derrick Rose. The last time she graced me with her presence was two years ago at a Richmond game, I wish I would've known it was the last time...
Farewell Red Panda, you will never be forgotten.
