Northern Iowa Breaks Stephen F. Austin's 34 Game Win Streak

Stephen F. Austin had the nations second longest home winning streak coming into a morning match up with Northern Iowa today and the Panther decided to snap that in a 79-77 overtime thriller. Demetrious Floyd missed a lay up in the lane to close the game that would have forced another overtime.

Northern Iowa sat at 12th in our MM15 Rankings this week while Stephen F. Austin was right behind them at 13.  Marvin Singleton lead the way for the Panthers today with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four other Panthers ended in double-figures including Seth Tuttle, Deon Mitchell, Wyatt Lohaus, and Wes Washpun.  Thomas Walkup and Floyd lead SFA with 20 points apiece.
