It's been a rough start to the season for the 4-3 Southern Miss Golden Eagles and now things are looking to go from bad to worse as the Eagles have released two of their top six scorers on the team.
Southern Miss basketball coach Doc Sadler announces that he has released a pair of guards - Shadell Millinghaus & Dallas Anglin.

Shadell Millinghaus, a Brooklyn native, was averaging nearly 9 points and 3 rebounds per game. Dallas Anglin was not far behind him with 6 points and 1 rebound per contest. Millinghaus actually started all but one game for the Golden Eagles this season.
"We have released Dallas and Shadell from the men’s basketball program. I wish them both the best of luck in their future endeavors.", head coach Doc Sadler said in a press conference.
The move leaves Southern Miss with just nine scholarships players and leaves the team a lot younger and with a severe lack of depth. The Golden Eagles were blown out on their home court 75-43 their last time out against Rhode Island. They'll host non-Division I Spring Hill on Saturday.
