There was plenty of action around the country last night here are the highlights from all the mid-major conferences that were in action:
America East:
Vermont destroyed UMass-Lowell 83-58 to grab their fifth straight win. The Catamounts are now 10-1 in the conference and playing some of the best ball in the country. Ethan O'Day lead the way for Vermont with 18 points and 4 rebounds while shooting 80% from the field.
In two close ones Binghamton grabbed a big overtime win 72-71 at New Hampshire, while UMBC took down Albany 71-69 in Baltimore. Hartford moved to 6-5 and into third place in the conference by taking down Maine 91-79 on the road.
Atlantic 10
It was quite the night in the Atlantic 10 with the highlight being George Mason upsetting UMass on the road to grab their second A10 win of their inaugural season. Sherrod Wright had 22 points for the Patriots but it was Erik Copes presence that really made as difference he had 12 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
VCU got their revenge on George Washington 92-75 at home, as Treveon Graham posted 25 points for the Rams. Meanwhile VCU's crosstown rival Richmond got a gritty win at Duquesne 75-58 behind 20 points from Kendall Anthony. The resilient Spiders have won both their games after losing seniors Cedrick Lindsay and Derrick Williams for the year.
We had two games that were live here on Mid-Major Madness as Dayton took down Rhode Island 76-69 and Saint Bonaventure grabbed a road win at Fordham 76-65. The Flyers are now back to .500 in the A10, while the Bonnies are trying to get there and are currently 4-6.
Big South
Coastal Carolina was down by 14 points at the half at VMI but Elijah Wilson powered the Chanticleers to a great comeback and a 83-78 win. Wilson finished the game with 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The Chants are now 8-4 in conference and is in first place all alone in the South Division for at least 24 hours.
Winthrop dominated Longwood 76-59 on the road in a awkward 4 PM tip-off and atmosphere due to inclement weather. Down in Buies Creek Campbell snapped their three game skid by taking down Presbyterian 77-66.
Colonial
Snow continues to terrorize UNC Wilmington as the postponed their second game of the year, meanwhile Davon Usher continues to terrorize the CAA in general. Usher had 34 points and 8 boards in Delaware's 81-65 win over James Madison. It was the Blue Hens thirteenth straight win and they are now 11-0 in the CAA heading into a tough road match up at Towson this weekend.
MAAC
A.J. English was the hero for the Iona Gaels as he nailed a three pointer with less than a minute left to down St. Peter's 62-59. David Laury came off the bench to lead the Gaels with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks. Iona is now 13-2 in MAAC play.
Missouri Valley
The game of the night was Evansville versus Illinois State as the Purple Aces got a 104-98 win behind 38 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists from D.J. Balentine. Jake Odum also had a big night for Indiana State in a 68-62 win over Bradley. Odum had 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
In other action, Missouri State got back on the right side of .500 in the MVC with a 69-63 win over Drake. Northern Iowa rounded out MVC action by downing Loyola (IL) 80-58.
Ohio Valley
In the only OVC game of the night Tennseee-Martin got a big road win over Southeast Missouri State 79-70. Despite his team's loss Tyler Stone had quite the night with 21 points and 16 rebounds. Myles Taylor lead the Skyhawks with 18 points and 8 boards.
Patriot League

Holy Cross grabbed their seventh straight win with a 66-63 decision over Army. The Crusaders are now 9-4 in Patriot League play but are still chasing American and Boston U who are now both 11-2 as American beat Lehigh 64-44 last night and BU took down Colgate 76-74 in a come from behind road win.
Outside the top of the pack, Loyola (MD) really struggled without Dylon Cormier and lost 61-44 at Lafayette. Bucknell moved closer to .500 with a 78-57 win over Navy.
