Saint Mary's comes into this game in an unfamiliar place, fourth. The Gaels ran out to the best start in program history, but have stumbled a bit in conference play. Right now, they're just one game in the loss column ahead of Pepperdine.
Pepperdine is also in an unfamiliar place, the top half of the conference standings. The Waves were the surprise team in the first half of the conference season. Back on January 16th the Waves hosted the Zags with first place on the line. It didn't go too well for Marty Wilson's bunch, and they've gone just 3-2 since.
