The Loyola Greyhounds and Navy Midshipmen are looking for some sort of momentum to take into next week's Patriot League Tournament. The Midshipmen can't improve their seeding and are locked into the conference's tenth seed, while Loyola is looking to host a first round game.
To host a game the Greyhounds just have to sit and wait. Loyola would grab the eight seed with a Colgate loss today. If Colgate wins then Loyola will need to hit the road unless they beat Navy and Army beats Lafayette.
These two teams connected early this year with the Greyhounds taking home a 63-57 overtime win. Loyola was down by 13 points with five minutes left and rallied to force overtime on their home floor, of course plenty has changed since then.
We'll have tip-off for you from Alumni Hall in Annapolis at 2 PM thanks to the Patriot League Network presented by Campus Insiders.
