San Francisco is in an enviable position. By the time the buzzer sounds to begin the game against Loyola Marymount, the Dons will know their fate. Either they have a chance to win the No. 2 seed in the conference, a place that has eluded them despite some recent very good seasons, or they are locked in a battle for the No. 3 seed.
It all depends on what the BYU Cougars can do earlier in the day.
Of course, the Dons would like to eliminate all opportunity to fall, and they can do that by taking out the last place Lions.
Will San Francisco cruise against Anthony Ireland in his final home game? Or will they be in a fight for their WCC Conference Tournament seeding lives? We will find out here at 7 p.m. Pacific.
