Jim Yarbrough will not return as Southeastern Louisiana's Head Basketball Coach in 2014-15. He spent nine years at the helm of the Lions program.
In those nine years, he compiled an overall record of 133-135. Five of his first six seasons were winning seasons overall, but the last three saw a steady decline. In 2013-14 the Lions finished 12-18 and 7-11 in the Southland Conference. They qualified for the postseason tournament, but only because New Orleans (who finished above them) was ineligible.
Purely speculative, but an interesting name to watch could be Southern Jaguars Head Coach Roman Banks.
Southeastern's AD Jay Artigues will have a busy spring, as the Lions are also in search of a new Women's Basketball Coach as well.
