2013-14 Official MAAC All-Conference Awards

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference completed its announcement of conference awards Friday night. No surprise that Billy Baron was honored as the head of the class.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its top award winners Friday night, completing the list of awards that began with the announcement of the all-conference teams Monday.

As expected, the second-best scorer in the country took home the honor for the best player in the league. Canisius' Billy Baron, who night after night put on a net-snapping show, was the 2013-14 Player of the Year.

Marist's Khallid Hart was named as the Rookie of the Year in the conference. He averaged 14.6 points per game and was rookie of the week in the conference a whopping seven times this year.

Rhamel Brown earn the top defensive honors. The Manhattan senior was second in the country in blocks per game, averaging almost four swats.
