Get ready for a wave of movement in the next two weeks in terms of coaching changes starting with today's firing of IUPUI's Todd Howard.
Howard was 26-70 in three years at the helm for the Jaguars. This year IUPUI went 6-26 and just 1-13 in the Summitt League. The Jaguars were bounced by IPFW in the Summit League Tournament 85-47 on Saturday.
In a statement from the school IUPUI Athletic Director Michael Moore said:
"I would like to thank Todd for his dedicated service to the IUPUI athletics department and to our basketball program," IUPUI athletic director Michael Moore said Sunday in a statement. "He guided the program with great pride, effort and integrity. I certainly wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors."
Howard has been at IUPUI since 1994 as an assistant after graduating from Louisville in 1993. Could he end up as an assistant under for IUPUI coach Ron Hunter at Georgia State?
