The Steve Masiello saga seems to be coming to a close as Manhattan has decided to reinstate their head coach. Masiello first accepted the head coaching position at South Florida before it was discovered that Masiello never really graduated from the University of Kentucky and had been lying on his resume for fourteen years. Current Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua was eventually hired for the job at South Florida.

Masiello is still on leave until he finishes his undergraduate degree. Associate Head Coach Matt Grady will be the acting head coach for the Jaspers.
Masiello will be on unpaid leave until he receives his degree. Associate head coach Matt Grady will lead the program as interim head coach.
