Coach Will Wade will get an early boost on his home floor when his Mocs will host the Battle 4 Atlantis Mainland event on November 26 and 27. The Mocs will join Robert Morris, Louisiana-Monroe, and Coastal Carolina as part of the two day competition.
The four mid-major squads will join the field of North Carolina, Georgetown, UAB, Butler, Florida, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and UCLA who will be playing in the November 26-28 event on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Robert Morris is slated to play at North Carolina on November 16 and Georgetown November 22 as part of the event. The rest of the home match ups that come as part of the event have yet to be announced.
Chattanooga generally hosts their own tournament, the Dr. Pepper Classic, round New Years and this tournament does not seem to put that one in any sort of jeopardy. The Mocs won 18 games in Wade's first year last season.
