March Madness: CIT Field Taking Shape

The CIT field is starting to take shape as teams have started to wrap up their conference tournaments.

Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

The CIT field for this year's 32 team tournament is beginning to take shape. The tournament will begin March 17 and end on April 2 with the semifinals and championship televised on CBS Sports Network.

The CIT features teams that don't receive a bid to the NCAA Tournament or the NIT and are from conferences outside of the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12, and SEC. Future round opponents change pending the prior results of games so there is no concrete bracket during the process.

We'll keep you up-to-date on the latest additions to the field.
