The Buffalo Bulls land as the 14-seed in the South Region, playing in Providence, R.I. in the 2016 NCAA tournament facing the Miami Hurricanes.
The Buffalo Bulls finished the season 17-14 overall and 10-8 in the Mid American Conference. The Bulls had a magical run in the MAC tournament knocking off the top two seeds in back to back nights to repeat as MAC tournament champions.
The Bulls were a team that was counted out before the year started as they lost both the MAC Player of the year in Justin Moss and their head coach Bobby Hurley who left to take the Arizona State job.
The Bulls have shown great flashes throughout the year, but they were not projected to take the MAC by storm in Cleveland beating Ohio and Akron who each beat the Bulls twice during the regular season. Blake Hamilton hit the biggest shot of his career sending the Bulls to the NCAA tournament where the Buffalo looks to keep the magic alive.
The Bulls face off against a tough Miami team out of the ACC. Miami has been a well coached team that seems to have been in the shadows of the blue bloods of the confe
