How to watch every mid-major game today: Harvard is in Shanghai, Stephen F. Austin visits Rupp, and literally everything else

Let’s watch some basketball.

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-South Regional Practice Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been 220 long days, but the college basketball offseason is finally over. No more preseason predictions. No more refreshing message boards ever five minutes in search of any semblance of news. The anticipation is over, and there will be college basketball on your TV today.

Leave work a little early. Maybe pick up your favorite snacks and beverages of choice on the way home. Put on that favorite pair of sweatpants (maybe the ones with the elastic waistband). Put fresh batteries in the remote. Do whatever you need to do to prepare for a night filled with hoops.

The opening night has something for everyone. The first game tips off at 1 p.m., and the last will culminate well after midnight. It’s a lot to take in at once, but don’t worry. We’re here to overwhelm you with all kinds of basketball because on opening night, all basketball is good basketball.
