Vegas 16: Field of 8 set for inaugural year of tournament

This will be the inaugural year of the Vegas 16 Tournament, a bracketed contest that will take place over three days at the end of March. Originally the tournament was going to have 16 teams, but only eight could be found for this season.

The first round will be held on March 28, with the semifinals on March 29.

The championship game will be March 30, at 10 p.m. Eastern. All games are scheduled to be broadcast on CBSSports Net

All games take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
