The former Shocker guard has signed with Toronto after going undrafted in Thursday's NBA Draft. Deal will guarantee VanVleet at least three summer league games to try to make an impression on the Raptors or, perhaps, another team.
VanVleet averaged 12.2 PPG, 5.5 APG and 1.8 SPG for the Shockers last season.

VanVleet has a steep road ahead of him as he still remains a long shot to make an NBA roster next fall, but he feels confident that he can prove himself worthy of a roster spot.
