Minnesota guard Kevin Dorsey will transfer to Colorado State, sources told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports on Monday.
Minnesota transfer Kevin Dorsey has committed to Colorado State, sources told @CBSSports. Sit one, play three. Averaged 6.8 PPG last year.

In his lone season for Minnesota, Dorsey carved out a nice role off the bench. He averaged 6.8 points, 1.4 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game in 18.6 minutes of playing time. Dorsey’s best game as a Gopher was his career-high 21 points in a road loss to Indiana.
But while Dorsey comes to Colorado State with potential on the court, he also brings baggage off the court. At Minnesota, he dealt with a suspension at the beginning of the season due to academic issues and was eventually dismissed from the program after posting a sexually explicit video on social media.
Since Dorsey has only played one year of college basketball, he will have to sit out next season for the Rams. He will still have three years of eligibility remaining when he finally takes the court in 2017-18.
