Oliver Tot made one basket for William & Mary on Saturday.
It came at the buzzer, from half court, to give the Tribe a 79-77 win at home over Old Dominion — a top-100 foe coming off back-to-back wins against Indiana State and Dayton.
Just two seconds before, Old Dominion’s Randy Haynes tipped in a missed layup from Ahmad Carver to put the Monarchs ahead.

William & Mary is now 3-2 headed into another test Wednesday against Marshall. The Tribe are still ranked just 222 in KenPom and are not projected to be in the CAA title conversation. But if Tot feels like hitting a few from half court against NCAA Tournament-level teams, you never know...
