As usual, Monday is not packed with games.
But in the brevity there is quality, with the log-jammed Sun Belt and Vermont’s impressive winning streak taking center stage. Here’s more on those games, along with the rest of your watching/streaming needs:

The Catamounts, who have won 12 straight games, are in a dizzying stretch. Starting with last Saturday, they’ll play four games in eight days, ending with a difficult trip to UMBC on Feb. 12. First, Vermont has two weekday games, beginning Monday at home against Binghamton. The Bearcats have been vulnerable on the interior in league play, which could mean disaster against Vermont’s Anthony Lamb. The freshman scored 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting the last time out against Hartford, and has scored in double figures in five of the last six games.
Coastal Carolina at Arkansas State | 8:00 PM ET | ESPN3

Devin Carter and Arkansas State won’t go away. The Redwolves used a 15-4 late second half run to get past Appalachian State on Saturday, and in general have refused to vanish from relevance after that eye-opening early season win at Georgetown. A six-game winning streak has them tied atop the Sun Belt at 8-2 with Georgia State and Georgia Southern. They welcome in a solid Coastal Carolina team that has defended well in league play and loves to shoot the three. Jaylen Shaw (15.9 PPG in SB play) and the Chanticleers are a week removed from a big home win over UT-Arlington.
The other two schools tied for first in the Funnest of Belts are also in action Monday night: Georgia Southern welcomes in slumping Louisiana while Georgia State puts its seven-game winning streak on the line at home against last-place UL-Monroe.
