NCAA Basketball: Summit Conference Tournament-North Dakota State vs South Dakota State
Can Paul Miller and the Bison turn it around against a rival?
Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

It’s Wednesday and there’s basketball. Need way say more?

Here are the games and story lines to follow, along with all of your watching/streaming needs:

South Dakota State at North Dakota State | 9:00 PM ET | ESPN3

The basketball version of the Dakota Marker has plenty of intrigue. NDSU was, just recently, running away with the Summit. SDSU was, just recently, in the cellar. Neither is the case anymore. The Bison have lost two-straight to put the regular season up for grabs, while the Jackrabbits have won three in a row. NDSU was able to win the first meeting back in December, even with Mike Daum doing Mike Daum things (24 points, 8-16 FG). Will he be able to take advantage of a slumping NDSU defense, or will Paul Miller and the Bison get back on track?

Murray State at Morehead State | 7:00 PM ET | OVCDigitalNetwork.com

Alright, we know Belmont is the class of the OVC. But who’s going to challenge them in Nashville? Murray State and Morehead State are toward the top of the list. It should be a fun, up-and-down game in Morehead with two of the OVC’s better offensive teams. The Racers - who’ve lost three of their last four - will have to contain DeJuan Marrero, especially on the offensive glass, if they’re going to reverse that trend against an Eagles team that has won five of its last six games.

Other story lines to follow:

  • The Bonnies must feel like they got screwed. Can you blame them? It’ll be interesting to see how they respond to an incredibly unique situation against Saint Louis. (Saint Louis at St. Bonaventure | 7:00 PM ET | Spectrum Sports New York)
  • The other side of that coin is VCU. The Rams travel to GW to face a team they blew out by 30 points at home a month ago. (VCU at George Washington | 9:00 PM ET | CBS Sports Network)
  • Lehigh’s 7-5 league record seems underwhelming considering the Mountain Hawks’ talent (aka Tim Kempton). They get Patriot-leading Bucknell at home in the only game KenPom doesn’t have the Bison heavily favored to win the rest of the way. (Bucknell at Lehigh | 7:00 PM ET | CampusInsiders.com)
  • Nevada hasn’t played since a loss to Utah State a week ago. That was on the road, so the disappointment is tempered. The Wolfpack should handle UNLV at home, but if they don’t, the Mountain West gets even wilder. (UNLV at Nevada | 11:00 PM ET | CBS Sports Network)
