VIDEO: Tahj Eaddy, SEMO down Tennessee State in overtime

The Redhawks stay alive.

While the game stream for Wednesday night’s Tennessee State-Southeast Missouri game may have stalled, the game play was anything but.

After fighting their way back to force overtime, the Redhawks managed to pull off the win in exciting fashion.

As the clock ticked down in the overtime period, Tennessee State trailed by three. They needed something—anything—to prolong the game. Ken'Darrius Hamilton stepped back and nailed a deep three in what looked like a shot that would give us another five minutes of play.

Tahj Eaddy clearly had different thoughts.

As SEMO streaked down the court with time running out, Eaddy caught a pass from Jonathan Dalton before knocking down the game-winning three from the left wing.

With that one shot, Eaddy ended the game and kept the Redhawks alive. They now have an appointment with Jacksonville State Thursday evening.

Here’s hoping the rest of the OVC Tournament is this fun.
