At long last, Selection Sunday is here.
In just a few hours, we’ll have a 68-team bracket, we’ll know who is going where, and we’ll have plenty to complain about.
The entire NCAA Tournament field will be unveiled on Sunday evening on CBS in a 90-minute marathon that promises to be only slightly more tolerable than the two-hour disaster we endured last year.
Traditionally, the 1 seeds are unveiled first, so we will know fairly early on exactly how much the committee respects a nearly perfect season from Gonzaga. After that, Greg Gumbel and the crew will break down the field by region, showing us the matchups and locations for each game, while the bubble teams start to sweat.
The biggest question: Will the bracket leak again? The show was drawn out so much last year that somehow the full bracket leaked before it was unveiled on TV, putting college basketball fans out of their misery of having to watch Charles Barkley pretend he had watched a college game all year. In the event that the bracket doesn’t leak, here’s how you can watch:
Time: 5:30 p.m. ET
TV: CBS
Stream: NCAA.com and CBSSports.com
