In a landscape so dominated by the biggest schools and conferences, it’s quite hard to winnow down the information you want and need to hear about your favorite mid-major programs.

LaVall Jordan is headed to Butler (SB Nation)

The LaVall Jordan era in Milwaukee looks to be over after one short, 11-24 season. Jordan, who has been an assistant at big name schools like Iowa, Michigan, and Butler, is apparently going to replace Chris Holtmann, newly-minted Ohio State coach.

Four BYU Cougars have returned from missions, and they’re ready to get going for next season. The four players have all seen game time before for BYU, including key role player Zac Seljaas.

Mathis, a four-star shooting guard in the class of 2018, winnowed his college choices down to his top 8 schools. Only one of them was a mid-major school. If I gave you one guess as to which school it was, I’m sure you’d get it right.
