Wagner guard Corey Henson to transfer to Nevada

The guard averaged 14 points per game last year.

Wagner guard Corey Henson announced that he will be transferring to Nevada, according to a report from Tai Young of VerbalCommits.

The report was also confirmed by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman and FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Henson will have to sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer rules, and will have one year of eligibility remaining. The 6’3” guard averaged 14.6 points per game last year for Wagner, and scored over 20 points in four games.

His commitment gives Wolfpack head coach Eric Musselman another feather in has cap on the transfer recruiting market. Nevada already has 10 transfer players on the roster for this season including players from NC State and Purdue, among others.
