The former Buckeye will sit out the 2017-18 season, but will still have two years of eligibility left. Lyle left the Ohio State program in April, and was arrested in his hometown of Evansville just a few weeks later.
Last season, Lyle averaged 11.4 points, 4.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game for the Buckeyes. The former five-star recruit should help Paul Weir expedite the rebuilding process for the Lobos.
