Florida Gulf Coast, Lipscomb, Jacksonville, and NJIT will be the four teams hosting quarterfinal games in the 2018 ASUN Tournament. Top-seeded FGCU recently fell into a bit of a rough patch, losing two straight home games, but the Eagles finished the regular season with a resounding victory over Stetson in Deland.
Meanwhile, second seed Lipscomb fought off a feisty Kennesaw State squad to finish off its regular season with a victory. Elsewhere during the conference’s last day, Jacksonville knocked off North Florida in the River City Rumble to secure the all-important home court advantage for Monday night.
On top of that, NJIT won a close one against USC Upstate to finish the year with a .500 ASUN record. The Highlanders hold the tiebreaker over UNF, so they will host the Ospreys in the quarterfinals.
