The Jerome 2018: Week 1 staff picks

Okay not really, but bear with me. We’re only a few hours away from the first round of the Atlantic Sun Tournament, which means Conference Tournament Season is officially underway. It also means that we are just a few hours away from the commencement of the 18th annual edition of The Jerome.

If you don’t know, The Jerome is a fairly simple game where you try to correctly guess the winners of every conference tournament. You get one point per correct pick, two points if your pick is seeded third or worse in their conference tournament. It’s pretty straightforward.

There are 14 mid-major conference tournaments this week. That means 14 tickets to the NCAA Tournament are on the line, but more importantly 14 (or more) Jerome points are on the line. We asked our staff to make their picks. They’re probably all wrong, but we decided to share them with you anyway.
