2018 NBA Draft: Tracking Mid-Major prospects

Keep tabs on your beloved mid-major stars.

NCAA Basketball: UNLV at Nevada Lance Iversen-USA TODAY Sports

As of 11:59 p.m. on April 22, the deadline to enter the NBA Draft has come and gone. Many college basketball players — somewhere in the range of 150 players — exercised their right to enter their name in the draft and go through the process.

It’s important to remember that players can still return to school if they don’t sign with an agent. Contrary to what some of the college basketball media will tell you, this is a good thing! Players having the freedom to explore the process and make an informed decision is great for those who might be on the fence between turning pro and coming back to continue their college careers.

The passing of the early entry deadline marks the first significant date on the NBA Draft calendar. Here are some other key dates to keep tabs on:

April 22: NBA Early Entry Eligibility Deadline (11:59 p.m. ET)
May 15: NBA Draft Lottery (Chicago)
May 16-20: NBA Draft Combine (Chicago)
May 30: NCAA Early Entrant Withdrawal Deadline (5 p.m. ET) — If you don’t withdraw before this time, agent or not, you canNOT return to college basketball
June 11: NBA Draft Early Entry Entrant Withdrawal Deadline (5 p.m. ET)
June 21: NBA Draft

With those dates in mind, here’s where some of our favorite mid-major stars currently sit in the process. Big thanks to r/collegebasketball for compiling the list, and ESPN’s list as well.
