Chandler Hutchison is the first mid-major player off the board to the team that everyone expected all along.
With the 22nd pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls selected the Boise State wing, making him the highest drafted player in Boise State history. The Bulls reportedly made him a promise early on in the draft process to select him if he were available, and they stayed true to their word.

The first-round selection completes Hutchison’s journey from a role player as a freshman to one of the best players in the country by the time he graduated. The 6’7 wing averaged 20 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during his senior campaign.
Hutchison projects as a guy who should be able to come in and contribute right away. His size and athleticism should allow him to guard multiple positions on defense, and he continues to develop of his offensive arsenal to become a versatile scorer. Overall, this is a solid pick by the Bulls and he should carve out a role right from the jump.
